2006/7 Competitions Whab Championship Impetuous Armies DBM - 6/7 January 2007 DBM Championship DBR Championship 2005/6 Competitions Principles of War Campaign This is based on a fictional 1813 campaign in Northern Italy. It involves a French invasion of the Austrian held territory. The Austrians are supported by the Russians arriving from the east and the British landing on the coast. Ali Pasha of Jannina has brought his army across from Albania and will arrive from the south in support of the French - but he might be tempted by those big Russian cannon! The campaign is umpired using board game rules with battles fought on the tabletop using PoW. This year we will use fixed pre-submitted lists. Players may submit 2 armies from the same army list which will be checked and made available for all competitors. The closing date for entering the competition will be the end of the meeting 31st October 2004, at which time players must submit army name and number from the appropriate book. Army lists must be submitted to me by 3pm 14th November 2004, after which time the draw will be held. The lists will be checked and available for the meeting 28th November 2004, at which time I will have finalised the dates for the various rounds. As last year, where a players fails to play their game by the due date , they will forfeit the game where it can be shown that they are responsible for the game not being played.
