Not a big 'period' at GDWS but a range of games are played.

The Warhammer world is by far the most popular games system.

A Bloodbowl tournament was held a few years ago and the Lord of the Rings trilogy has spawned a number of games using the Games Workshop range of 28mm figures.

The Flintloque world of fantasy Napoleonics are used by several players.

Science fiction is the inspiration for a number of different games.
