| The
renaissance period covers early modern warfare from the
end of the 15th Century until the end of the 17th
Century. It was period of transition in warfare. The
introduction of effective firearms, the replacement of
the galley with the sailing warship and a revolution in
fortification and siege craft.
Back to a fringe period in Glasgow and District as the Annual
DBR Competition has stopped. Most 15mm players are
awaiting the Renaissance version of FoG.
  
Other rules used for the period are
Principles of War
and Warhammer Historical English Civil War (WECW).
Players tend to use 15mm armies although the advent of
WECW has again brought 25mm figures back onto the
tabletop.

fought scenario based on the popular
Polish armies using DBR with 25mm figures.
